FlirtLabz is a volunteer-run, non-profit hobby community for adults aged 18 and over. You can join free in a browser or use an IRC client. There are no advertising banners or paid chat tiers on FlirtLabz; an independent client may have its own charges and privacy policy.
Join in your browser, without installing anything
- Choose a room and use its join link, or enter #WorldLabz directly. Confirm the adults-only entry and site policies.
- Choose a nickname. For guest entry, use Direct and leave I have a registered nick unchecked. You do not need an email address or account for initial guest chat.
- If you already have a NickServ account, enable registered entry and enter that account name and password. Check the selected channel before choosing Enter the Chat.
A room link keeps that room selected. The main #ChatLabz room is also available in a separate tab. You can read for a while before speaking, and activity varies with who is around.
Choose a room and language
English is the shared conversational language in ordinary public rooms; #WorldLabz welcomes all languages. People from every country are welcome throughout FlirtLabz when they follow the room’s convention and rules. #Café is for non-sexual everyday chat, #QueerLabz is LGBTQ+-inclusive, and #ChatLabz is the main social lounge.
Open Discover Channels in webchat or type /join #WorldLabz. Select a joined room to switch conversations; /part leaves the current room. The WorldLabz participation guide explains multilingual conversation. Supported interface translations change controls, not people's messages; custom FlirtLabz forms and help are currently English.
Connect with IRCCloud
Your IRCCloud account and your FlirtLabz NickServ account are separate. In IRCCloud, add a network with these connection details:

If you have a registered FlirtLabz account, use IRCCloud's NickServ/SASL authentication options for it. Otherwise choose an unused nickname and join as a guest. IRCCloud connects to the same network and rooms; avatar and other extended features depend on client and protocol support, so the interfaces are not identical. Other IRC clients
Use the same hostname and TLS port in your client's network settings. Enable certificate verification and do not ignore a certificate warning. Once connected, /join #WorldLabz opens the multilingual room. Client command syntax and extra features differ, so use that client's documentation for its connection dialog and SASL settings.
What is an IRC account?
A nickname is the name shown beside your messages. Registering it with NickServ gives you a recoverable account; your account name can differ from your current nickname. This is also the account used to sign in to FlirtLabz Community. Registration is optional for initial public chat, while some rooms, private-message settings and account features may require it.
Register a nickname on the website, verify the email that arrives, and use a unique password. The nickname guide explains protection and recovery. In an IRC client, /msg NickServ HELP REGISTER and /msg NickServ HELP IDENTIFY show the service's current instructions. Never paste your password into a public channel.
Direct, Bouncer and coming back
Direct connects the browser while it is open and connected; messages during a disconnect may be missed. Bouncer is an optional registered-account mode with encrypted replay and a connection that can remain parked for up to two hours. It is temporary continuity, not a permanent archive, and it is separate from IRCCloud's own service.
On returning, use your usual account details and check your selected room. A browser reload may require your password again. Wait for reconnect status after a network interruption; if sign-in is requested, enter your credentials in the login form. Do not repeatedly create new sessions when one is still reconnecting. Use Quit Chat when you intend to leave; leaving one channel does not quit the network.
Private messages, problems and help
Ask before moving a conversation into DMs. Open your own profile's DM Privacy and ACCEPT list to control contact; an identified-account requirement or approval mode may prevent an otherwise valid guest from messaging someone. Ignore hides a person's messages for you; it is not a staff report.
For login or connection trouble, visit #SupportHub and describe the error without sharing passwords. For harassment, use #report or the private website report form, which may require sign-in. Include the relevant nickname, room and time. Volunteer response times vary.
Read the community rules and Privacy Notice. A nickname is a pseudonym, not a guarantee of anonymity. Operational metadata, optional replay and other clients' own history have different purposes and retention.
