Use this channel for harassment, consent violations, impersonation, ban evasion, threats, spam, or other rule breaches. A volunteer moderator will review the report and may ask for context.
Join #report on IRC or use ❗┃report-here-⚠️ on Discord. Include the nickname involved, the room, an approximate time, and a short description. Do not repost explicit material into a public channel.
#report is the moderation route. Connection failures, forgotten nickname passwords, and client setup belong in #SupportHub. If somebody is in immediate physical danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service; an IRC moderation team cannot provide emergency response.
Contact #report whenever you encounter behaviour that appears to violate community guidelines or creates an unsafe environment:

If the behaviour is not listed but appears to break the Terms, ask in #report. Do not investigate another member yourself.
Reporting on IRC: Join #report through the webchat or an IRC client. Give the relevant nicknames, channel, approximate time, and a factual description. Stay available in case the moderator needs clarification.
Reporting on Discord: Join our Discord at discord.gg/VeT28CWCpq. Use the ❗┃report-here-⚠️ channel. Provide a clear description and any relevant screenshots. A moderator will review and respond.
Reports from IRC's #report are bridged to a moderator-only Discord channel so the team can coordinate. A report is a request for review, not a guarantee of a particular sanction.
A volunteer moderator reviews the available context, may ask questions, and chooses an action under the Terms and channel rules. Depending on the issue, that can mean advice, a warning, a channel action, a network restriction, or no action when the evidence does not support the report.
Moderators limit a report to the people who need it for review, but cannot promise legal confidentiality. Do not post passwords, addresses, private keys, or unnecessary personal data. Use email or a private moderator conversation if evidence should not appear in the report channel.
