FlirtLabz is an IRC chat community for adults aged 18 and over. IRC connects people in live text conversations. Our webchat runs in your browser, so you can try it without installing an app or registering an account.

#WorldLabz is a shared multilingual room, not a collection of separate national communities. English, Spanish, German and other languages are welcome. Who is around depends on the time zone and the day; a quiet room may take a while to answer.

One community, many languages

People from every country are welcome throughout FlirtLabz. #WorldLabz welcomes conversations in all languages. English is the shared conversational language in the other ordinary public chat rooms, so everyone can follow along. You are welcome in those rooms whenever you are comfortable chatting in English.

How to join

Confirm that you are 18 or older and agree to the site policies, then choose Join #WorldLabz. Pick a nickname and use guest entry to start without an account. The selected room stays #WorldLabz; #ChatLabz is also available as the network's main room.

Already have a NickServ account? Use your usual registered-user entry. Direct and bouncer options remain available. Registering a nickname is optional for initial participation; it helps you keep that identity when you return.

What is translated?

This introduction is in English. The chat client includes translations for some built-in controls, but FlirtLabz's custom login, settings and help are currently in English. This is not a promise of moderation in any particular language.

The language in a room link applies to supported chat controls for that visit. It stays in the URL on reload and does not save a new language preference or send a language announcement to the room. Your existing account and connection choices are unchanged.

Leave room for each other

Start with a hello or a small question. A translation or a little context can help others join in, but you never have to disclose your country, nationality or preferred language. Ask before correcting someone's language.

Flirting should be welcome on both sides. Ask before private messages or sexting, and respect a no. Read the room rules and use the help or report room if you need assistance. Public channels are shared spaces; the Privacy Notice explains operational data and retention.

First time in #WorldLabz?

Try a small opener: “Hello! What's a word you like in another language?” There is no need to introduce your location or personal details.
People may reply in different languages. Ask for clarification kindly, and allow time for a response. No language or moderator availability is guaranteed.
Bookmark this page to return to the same room. A registered nickname is optional; use your existing direct or bouncer entry if you already have one.
To switch rooms, use Discover Channels in webchat or type /join #WorldLabz. Joining another room does not leave this one: select its tab to change conversations. #Café is for non-sexual everyday chat, #QueerLabz is LGBTQ+-inclusive, and #ChatLabz is the main social lounge; these rooms share English.
Interface translations affect supported controls, not IRC messages. Messages are not automatically translated.
