What is a Netizen? The FlirtLabz Community Programme

FlirtLabz is a community built by and for its users. Netizens are the foundation and soul of FlirtLabz — they support the community and uphold its values. Netizenship is not a staff role; it is a recognition of the people who consistently show up, set the tone, and make this place worth coming back to.

As a Netizen of FlirtLabz, members agree to the following:

Abide by the Oath — Follow the Oath of Netizens in its entirety.
Uphold Community Standards — Abide by the FlirtLabz Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
Foster a Positive Environment — Promote positivity, presence, and order across all official FlirtLabz channels and platforms.
Value the Privilege — Understand that representing the community as a Netizen is a privilege, not a right.
Accept Accountability — Failure to comply with the TOS and guidelines can result in the removal of this privilege.

Eligibility for Netizenship

IRC Qualifications

Account age: Nickname must be registered for a minimum of 8 weeks (56 days).
Activity: Must be active within the 2 weeks prior to review — defined as chatting at least every other day in at least one official channel.
Standing: No major infractions against the Oath, Community Guidelines, or TOS, and no outstanding conflicts with staff.

Discord Qualifications

Server tenure: Must be present on the server for a minimum of 8 weeks (56 days).
Activity: Must be active for at least 3 weeks prior to review — defined as chatting at least every other day in at least one official channel.
Standing: No major infractions against the Oath, Community Guidelines, or TOS, and no outstanding conflicts with staff.

Duties of Netizenship

While Netizens are not staff members, they serve as the soul and spirit of the community.

1. Support and Uphold Community Rules

Netizens represent the community at all times. While enforcing the TOS is not your duty, reminding others of the rules and following them yourself is.

2. Report Suspicious and Malicious Activity

Netizens must report any malicious activity, inappropriate behaviour, or suspected underage users through the proper channels, such as #report.

3. Support the Staff

Staff members bear the responsibility of enforcing the rules, but supporting their decisions is equally vital to maintaining order.
